With over two decades of experience, Rosanne is dedicated to inspiring and motivating students across diverse educational settings and age groups, from pre-primary to year 12 and beyond. With a strong passion for education, Rosanne majored in education and methodology at university. She has several qualifications including a Doctorate. She has taught in South Africa, New York, (USA), and Portugal at an array of State, Public, and international schools, teaching from kindergarten through grade 7, specializing in literacy and mathematical concepts.
Since then, she has expanded her expertise to teaching middle and high school General Sciences, Mathematics, and Biology, including Key Stage 3 and 4, GCSE, and A-Level Mathematics, as well as IB MYP General Sciences, Mathematics, and Biology, and IB DP Biology. Rosanne’s passion for education is evident in her commitment to fostering a love for learning and supporting students in achieving their full potential in a holistic and nurturing way. Her love for working with teenagers was inspired by the No Child Left Behind policy, driving her to adopt a collaborative approach to learning, developing individualized programs to ensure inclusive education for all students, and finding interdisciplinary connections so that students can apply their learning to real-life situations.
As a former Model United Nations (MUN) coordinator, she promotes intercultural understanding and informed decision-making. Rosanne enjoys being outdoors and loves nature, inspiring students to appreciate the origins of their food. She is a strong advocate for recycling and environmental sustainability, encouraging others to appreciate their environment and develop interdisciplinary connections. Outside of the classroom, Rosanne is a keen swimmer who also loves to read and garden. An avid cricket spectator, she enjoys spending time with her family and is married with two grown daughters.
