Ricardo Leite
School Farm Manager

Ricardo manages the School farm. He has a degree from the University of Evora in Applied Animal Sciences and a technical degree in agrarian production. He is founder of his own gardening and farming company, Horta do Leite.

Ricardo has worked at both Herdade do Freixo do Meio and Quinta do Arneiro, 2 of Portugal's leading organic commercial farms. He has also worked as a silvopoasture ranger at Peneda-Geres National Park.

Ricardo has extensive experience organising summer camps for children, plays the piano, and was a junior national level swimmer. He is passionate about exploring the endless opportunities to integrate farming with learning.
