Joana Rebelo de Andrade (Rá)

Joana Rebelo de Andrade is a visual artist, art educator, and mother of three. She holds two degrees in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts and in Graphic Design from IADE, both in Lisbon. During her studies, she received an Erasmus Program scholarship to study in Paris at Duperré and later studied Typography at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
Joana has exhibited regularly in Portugal, showcasing her work in both solo and group exhibitions at notable venues such as Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, Museu da Electricidade, Fundação Dom Luís, and Galeria Belo-Galsterer. Her artwork is also represented in private collections globally, including the Sammlung Pohl Private Collection.
For Joana, her studio work and her passion for teaching are deeply intertwined. When she is not teaching or spending time with her family, she is fully engaged in her studio.
